Slack, meet Reflectiv.

What you can do

Reflectiv is a Mac app that gives your AI bots access to the tools you use for work. Connect Slack to search messages, read channels and threads, and look up teammates. When you ask a bot to send a message or reply, Reflectiv asks you to approve the destination and message before posting.

Get Reflectiv

Reflectiv is currently available through early access. If you do not have the Mac app yet, request early access. Once you have access, install and open Reflectiv, then add your AI provider key in Settings and create a bot.

Connect your workspace

In Reflectiv, open Marketplace → Slack and add the integration.
Select Connect with Slack to open your browser.
Sign in to Slack, choose your workspace, and review the requested permissions. Your workspace may require an administrator’s approval.
Approve access and return to Reflectiv. The connection finishes automatically; you do not need to paste any codes or credentials.
Select Check connection to verify access. Invite the Reflectiv bot to channels where you want it to post.

Start the connection from Reflectiv each time. You do not need to create your own Slack app or enter a client ID or secret. Your connected workspace is shared across your bots in Reflectiv.

Try a conversation

Search and reading use your Slack user access. Approved messages are posted as the Reflectiv bot, rather than as you.

Permissions and data

Reflectiv requests permission to search messages, read conversations and their history, and look up workspace members using your Slack account. It can only read content your account can access. The bot has permission to view conversation information and post messages where it has access.

Slack content retrieved for your requests is sent to your selected AI provider and saved in your Reflectiv conversation. Credentials are encrypted on your Mac. Reflectiv’s hosted sign-in service temporarily handles authorization and token renewal. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Disconnect or change workspaces

Choose Disconnect in Reflectiv’s Slack settings to remove the local connection. To revoke access in Slack, remove Reflectiv through your workspace’s app management settings; an administrator may need to help. Reconnect in Reflectiv to select a different workspace. Reflectiv currently supports one connected Slack workspace at a time.

Troubleshooting

Approval required: ask your Slack workspace administrator to approve Reflectiv, then try connecting again.
Sign-in expired: start again from Reflectiv and complete authorization in the same browser.
A channel or message is missing: check that you chose the correct workspace and that your Slack account has access to it.
The bot cannot post: invite Reflectiv to the channel and check that your workspace permits it to send messages there.
A message request failed: check Slack before retrying; the message may have been sent even if its confirmation was interrupted.
